Geopark Week – 30th May-7th June


A celebration of the excellent geology and landscape in the
Abberley & Malvern Hills Geopark

Geopark week hosts a series of events all across the Abberley and Malvern Hills Geopark.
The highlight of this year is an inaugural walk of the 'Geopark Way' a long distance walk from
Bridgnorth to Gloucester, interpreted in a brand new guide book.
The Malvern Walking Festival is hosting this walk, but geologists from GGT and Herefordshire & Worcestershire
Earth Heritage Trust will meet the walkers at key points to provide extra interpretation.
We hope to end the walk with a tour of the stones in Gloucester Cathedral.
