Lithology
Mudstone, grey with common fossiliferous, argillaceous, nodular limestone layers and corals.

Upper Boundary
Base of nodular limestones of the Aymestry Limestone.

Lower Boundary
Transitional with underlying poorly fossiliferous Elton Beds.
