Brownstones

Lithology
Red, brown and purple fluvial sandstones with red mudstone interbeds.

Upper Boundary
Unconformbale, where sandstones and mudstones are overlain by the coarse pebble conglomerate of the Quartz Conglomerate.

Lower Boundary
Where sandstones become dominant over mudstone in the underlying St Maughans Formation.
