Lithology
Weakley calcareous, thin-bedded siltstone, mudstone and sandstone with occasional layers of impure limestone.

Upper Boundary
Abrupt trnsition to basalts of the Upper Trap.

Lower Boundary
Overlying basalts of the Lower Trap.
