Lithology
Mudstone, grey, uniform, poorly fossiliferous with rare limestone layers.

Upper Boundary
Transitional with overlying fossiliferous Bringewood Beds.

Lower Boundary
Above pale grey nodular to thinly bedded limestones with reef bodies of the Much Wenlock Limestone.
