Huntley Hill Formation

Lithology
Thickly bedded conglomerates and coarse sandstones. Granules and pebbles are subangular to rounded and consist mainly of quartzite, vein quartz and pink feldspar, but fragments of igneous and sedimentary rocks are not uncommon.

Upper Boundary
Transitional into finer grained sandstones and siltstones of the Yartleton Formation.

Lower Boundary
Unproved. Overlies Huntley Quarry Beds but relationship is uncertain.
