How Can I Help?
Gloucestershire Geology Trust has always been a dominantly volunteer run organisation and without our members, many sites of great importance would have been lost and many others never re-exposed. There are so many sites that still need to be protected and with your continued support and help we will be able to achieve this.

There are many ways in which you can help us, no previous geological knowledge is necessary, we can provide any training and advice you might need in:

Site Monitoring: We need to know the condition of important sites and any threat to them.

Practical Work: Since 1992 Gloucestershire Geology Trust has carried out clearance and cleaning work to re-expose and conserve many important geological sites around the county.

Rock and Fossil Roadshows: Keen volunteers are always needed to help out at Roadshows, where we help children learn more about our geology and landscape.

There is no obligation to become actively involved in our work, you can simply join us on one of our events, or explore the county's geology on your own. Our extensive library is available for all members to use for research, and staff will be happy to help with any requests for information.

For an annual £12.00 membership fee (£5.00 for Junior Members) you will receive your own membership card, our 'Bedrock' magazine, invitations to events, field trips and opportunities to help us protect Gloucestershire's Geological Heritage.
