Lithology
Micaceous shale with interbedded siltstones and common flaggy sandstone or siltstone beds, typically between 15-30cm thick.

Upper Boundary
Abrupt contact with overlying basalt of the Lower Trap.

Lower Boundary
Transitional with similar lithology of underlying Breadstone Shales.
