Lithology
Grey to greenish grey, flaggy calcareous siltstone with shelly limestone beds.

Upper Boundary
Base of cross bedded sandstone of Downton Castle Sandstone; locally at base of Ludlow Bone Bed.

Lower Boundary
Above lithological change from limestone (Aymestry Limestone) to calcareous siltstone.
