Lithology
Thinly bedded nodular limestones and calcareous siltstone and mudstones; some bentonites.

Upper Boundary
Conformably overlain by Coalbrookdale Formation; transitional junction.

Lower Boundary
Uncertain in Gloucestershire. Overlies Yartleton Formation of May Hill Sandstone.
