Tidenham, Wintours Leap & the Wye Gorge;
Beachley Point & Sedbury Cliff -
Geology and Landscape Trail


This trail is divided into two sections: the first explores part of Tidenham, Tutshill and the Lower Wye Valley, Looking at the impressive cliffs and incised meanders of the Wye Gorge, the landscape between the rivers Wye and Severn and the rocks of Dayhouse Quarry.

The second part covers the area around Beachley Point where the two rivers join and where some interesting geology is exposed on the shore, and includes a diversion to visit the classic Triassic-Jurassic boundary at Sedbury Cliff.
